How to Play Abalone
- Set up the hexagon board and divide the marbles between players. The rules are easy to learn, so most families can start playing within minutes.
- The goal is simple: push six of your opponent’s marbles off the board before they do the same to you.
- Play regularly and encourage your child to talk through moves, predict responses, and experiment with different strategies. Much of the learning happens while deciding whether to attack, defend, or rethink the entire plan.
