ARIS Starter Package for Families
Children develop skills at different rates, and finding the right support can make all the difference. The Language Builder® – ARIS Starter Package combines adaptive online instruction with hands-on learning materials to help children strengthen communication, cognitive, motor, social-emotional, and daily living skills at their own pace.
Designed for children with autism and developmental delays, the program pairs a one-year ARIS Online for Families subscription with carefully selected Language Builder® materials. Lessons automatically adapt to your child's performance, providing individualized instruction while tracking progress along the way.
Unlike programs that rely solely on age-based placement, ARIS begins with an assessment that identifies your child's current skill level. This ability-based approach allows children to work where they are most successful while continuing to build new skills and confidence.
The program addresses a broad range of developmental areas, including language development, fine motor skills, social-emotional learning, attention, following directions, and foundational academic readiness concepts. Clear lesson plans, built-in progress monitoring, and a live welcome session help families get started with confidence.

How to Use the ARIS Starter Package
- Begin by setting up your child's ARIS Online account and completing the initial assessment. The results help determine the appropriate starting point and ensure lessons are matched to your child's current abilities.
- Visit the Lessons tab to view recommended activities. ARIS automatically suggests lessons based on your child's progress, making it easy to know what to work on next.
- Follow the lesson instructions as written, adjusting as needed to meet your child's individual needs. The prerequisite lists provide guidance if additional foundational skills need to be strengthened before moving forward.
- With more than 200 lessons and ongoing assessments, ARIS continually monitors progress and updates recommendations, helping your child move forward one skill at a time.
- Use the included Language Builder® materials alongside the online lessons to reinforce concepts through hands-on practice and real-world interaction.
