How to Use Blockaroo Castle Set
- Explore the shapes together. Click a few pieces into place, then show your child how the connected blocks rotate 360 degrees. Twist a tower, turn an elbow, and experiment with building sideways as well as up.
- Build a simple castle together. Start with a few walls and towers rather than trying to use all 35 pieces at once. Let your preschooler choose where the cones, domes, cylinders, and other shapes should go.
- Then step back. Knock it down and see what he builds without a model. A castle may turn into a rocket, robot, animal, or something that does not have a name yet — and that is exactly the point.
- Ask an occasional question if the building stalls. How could you make that tower taller? Can you connect these two sides? What piece would make a good roof? A small prompt keeps the engineering going without taking over the project.
- Take the blocks into the bathtub or pool. Because Blockaroo floats, your child can experiment with what stays together, what moves, and what he can build on or around the water.
