Painting is only the beginning. A few days later, something new starts to happen. Build & Grow Tree House begins as a paint-and-build project and gradually evolves into a scene that changes over time.
Everything needed to paint, build, and decorate the treehouse is included, along with an optional growing element for adding real greenery. (And yes—you can skip the seeds and still end up with a full, leafy tree.)
The project moves in clear steps. First, children paint the wooden pieces, adding color to the tree, branches, and base. Then the structure comes together as the pieces are fitted and glued into place.
With the build complete, the scene fills in. Stickers, cardstock pieces, and faux leaves add windows, details, and personality to the treehouse.
There is also an optional growing step. Chia seeds can be added to the soil-free mats, and with a few drops of water, greenery begins to appear. Prefer to skip it? The included faux leaves create the same full effect—no extra care required.
Once assembled, the treehouse naturally shifts into play. The animal figures move in, and the structure becomes a setting for ongoing stories.
As children paint, build, and arrange the pieces, they strengthen fine-motor control, practice following multi-step directions, and see how a project comes together over time.
