Why do some animals thrive in one environment but struggle in another? How do plants, weather, energy, and living things interact? Discover! Science 3 helps third graders investigate these questions through engaging lessons, hands-on activities, and meaningful real-world connections.

This full-year homeschool curriculum explores animal behaviors, adaptations, ecosystems, plants, matter, sound, energy, motion, weather, and the human digestive system. Student worktexts are divided into two volumes, with life science topics in Book A and physical and Earth science topics in Book B.

Throughout the course, your child will read, observe, discuss, experiment, and apply new concepts through activities designed to support a variety of learning styles. Lessons encourage students to think critically, make connections, and develop a deeper understanding of the world around them.

The accompanying Instructor Guide provides lesson support, answer keys, assessments, pacing suggestions, and additional teaching ideas. Together, the worktexts and guide create an open-and-go program that is easy to implement while still providing meaningful science instruction.
