Dissection and Lab Kit for Apologia Marine Biology
Bring marine biology beyond the textbook with authentic dissections that let your student examine ocean life firsthand. Designed to accompany Exploring Creation with Marine Biology, this dissection kit includes the preserved specimens needed to complete the course's laboratory investigations.
The kit contains a preserved dogfish shark, clam, sponge, coral, brine shrimp eggs, sea fireflies, a glow stick, and other marine specimens and materials. (See the Details tab for a complete list of contents.) Each specimen is preserved in a low-odor solution and carefully packaged for storage. Unopened, the specimens remain usable for up to one year. Once opened, they should be used within approximately one month.
The Exploring Creation with Marine Biology textbook provides the instructions for each dissection, so no separate laboratory manual is required.
Designed for one high school student or a small group, this kit makes it easy to complete the course's marine biology dissections with authentic specimens while building observation skills, anatomical knowledge, and confidence in the laboratory. Curriculum and dissection tools sold separately.
