Easy Grammar Ultimate Grade 9 takes the mystery out of grammar by teaching concepts in a logical, step-by-step sequence that even grammar-shy teens can follow. Designed specifically for older students, this ¼-credit high school course provides daily practice in grammar, punctuation, capitalization, sentence structure, and usage without overwhelming explanations or busywork.
The program includes 180 daily lessons that take approximately 10–15 minutes to complete. Along the way, your teen will strengthen editing and writing skills while working with age-appropriate content drawn from history, science, literature, geography, and other academic subjects.
What sets Easy Grammar apart is its emphasis on memorizing prepositions early in the course. Once students can identify and eliminate prepositional phrases, finding subjects, verbs, and other parts of speech becomes significantly easier. The Teacher's Guide contains the complete instructional program, teaching directions, reproducible student pages for non-commercial family use, and a full answer key. Many families choose to have students work directly from the Teacher's Guide, allowing them to read the instructions, complete the exercises, and check their own work independently.
For families who prefer separate consumable pages, the Student Workbook contains the same student exercises without requiring photocopying. This can be especially helpful when teaching multiple students at the same level.

I like the idea of this curriculum. My high schooler? Not so much. But there’s not much out there that high schoolers enjoy when it comes to school. He did say he loves how it’s one page a day. It’s simple, straight to the point and no fluff. It’s perfect.

I bough this book after using grade 8 and I was surprised to see that it had a completely different layout then the grade 8. There is just one page to do each day that is pretty self explanitory. Also, the answers are in the back of the book instead of opposit each worksheet, as in grade 8. I liked this better because my daughter could do the worksheet right out of my book, rather than having to purchase a student workbook as well. The content is amazing and covers everything I wanted her to learn this year. I love this series of books!

I'm glad that Easy Grammar works with all my kids. This is a great program and is self-Instructional. I like to review grammar terms with them as they go along and make sure they're pronouncing the terms correctly for reinforcement. I will definitely continue to add Easy Grammar each year.
