Exploring Creation with Biology
Exploring Creation with Biology is designed to be the student's first high school science course. It is a college-prep biology course that provides a detailed introduction to the methods and concepts of general biology. Students who take and understand this course will be very well prepared for any challenging university biology course. See our optional microscope kit here, and our optional dissection kit here. Heavily emphasizing the vocabulary of biology, it provides the student with a strong background in:
- The scientific method
- The five-kingdom classification scheme
- Microscop
- Biochemistry
- Cellular biology
- Mendelian genetics, evolution, dissection, and more.
We also offer a MP3 Audio CD (sold separately) that is designed to be used with the textbook Exploring Creation With Biology. This MP3 Audio CD is the perfect complement to the textbook for auditory learners or those students who benefit from listening while they read.
Please note, these books are not for every student. They are massive, detailed, and require a fair amount of math. A student who does not yet excel at math or will be overwhelmed by the textbook format may lose their zeal for science if forced to proceed down this track. Instead, we suggest looking at Friendly Biology for a gentler approach to feed their interest without overwhelming them.
