Got Five! puts five hidden numbers in front of your child—numbers everyone else can see, but he cannot. The goal is to figure out your five before anyone else deduces their own.
Each turn, your child reveals a tile and asks a question. Is this number higher or lower? Where does it fit among the five? Each answer removes possibilities, so he has to track what still works before making a call.
The first rounds are straightforward. Then, more information builds, and your child has to hold onto what he’s learned while adding something new. A wrong assumption shifts everything, so he stops, checks, and adjusts.
Because your child can see everyone else’s tiles, he compares what’s on the table to what could be in front of him. Numbers begin to fall into place. What doesn’t work gets ruled out. What remains starts to narrow.
The structure stays simple, but the pressure builds. Call too early, and he’s out. Wait too long, and someone else gets there first.
Your child starts by asking questions. Then he starts ruling things out. And in the end, he calls all five.
