In Hide & Goat Seek, your preschooler uses logic and spatial reasoning to help the goats stay safely out of sight. Each challenge begins with the wolf, goats, and furniture arranged according to the puzzle card. From there, it's up to your child to figure out exactly where each goat belongs.
The challenge is trickier than it first appears. Not every goat fits under every piece of furniture, and there's only one correct solution for each puzzle. As children experiment with different possibilities, they build logical thinking, visual perception, and problem-solving skills without even realizing they're practicing them.
With 48 challenges that gradually increase in difficulty, Hide & Goat Seek provides just the right amount of challenge for young puzzlers. Inspired by a classic fairy tale, the game features an adorably sleepy-looking wolf who's far more likely to inspire giggles than worry. (The included storybook follows the traditional tale a bit more closely, so parents may choose whether or not to share it.)

This game is amazing! It's fun, engaging, and really makes kids think, the quality is great the pieces are sturdy, well -made, and the details on them are really impressive (for a plastic game). It keeps children entertained while also helping them use their brains and problem -solve. Definitely a gave I'd recommend to any family.

Prefer Three Little Piggies

Very cute, but if you already own a lot of their games this one is not really their best and it is a bit redundant in idea to other games. Also, because of how many limits there are in the game based on height (two stacked goats), base of goats (triangle, square, circle), small board size, etc. there is not enough permutations to really be that much of a challenge. In fact, my kids beat the entire game in less than 20 minutes - and yes that was all of the levels which means it took less than 30 seconds to complete every level and there was no challenge at all. I would say the game is more for ages 3-4 and no higher, but if you are doing the Three Little Piggies, you don't need it. We did a number of Smart Games starting with preschool and working up in this order and we all loved them: Day and Night, Bunny Boo, Three Little Piggies, Little Red Riding Hood, Castle Logix, Camelot Jr., Smart Farmer, Trucky 3, Smart Dog, Squirrels Go Nuts, Jump In... and we also picked up games by other companies like Smart Cookies (or Chocolate Fix), Rush Hour Jr. or regular, Logik Street, and more. This game just did not make the cut in a family that loves SmartGames.
