Start with a small bowl of water and a few tablets nearby. That’s all you need.
Drop one in and wait. Let your child watch the color spread all the way through before doing anything else. That pause matters more than adding the next drop too quickly.
Then add a second tablet and see what changes. Does it stay the same? Does it shift? Let your child notice it first, even if he doesn't have the words for it yet.
