Hugarounds
Meet Hugarounds: The Plushie That Hugs Your Child Back
Part weighted plushie and part wearable comfort companion, Hugarounds are designed to provide soothing warmth, gentle pressure, and plenty of cuddles wherever your child's day takes him.
Unlike traditional weighted plush toys, Hugarounds feature long, weighted arms that wrap comfortably around your child's shoulders, lap, backpack strap, or seatbelt. The result is a hands-free hug that stays in place while he's reading, traveling, studying, or simply taking a quiet moment to relax.
Developed with input from occupational therapists, each Hugaround weighs approximately 2.5 pounds and provides gentle, evenly distributed pressure. The removable insert is filled with mold-resistant clay beads and can be warmed in the microwave or cooled in the freezer, offering comforting warmth on chilly days or cooling relief when needed.
The soft, non-allergenic fabrics and intentionally unscented design make Hugarounds a comfortable choice for a wide range of sensory preferences. Sized for travel and everyday use, they're easy for your child to bring along on car rides, plane trips, doctor visits, study sessions, or bedtime routines.
Many families appreciate weighted comfort tools because the gentle pressure can help encourage relaxation, support focus during quiet activities, and provide a reassuring sensory experience. Combined with the warmth and flexibility of the wraparound design, Hugarounds offer comfort that's easy to take wherever life happens.
Whether wrapped around your child's shoulders, resting across his lap, or tucked beside him at bedtime, Hugarounds provide a comforting blend of warmth, sensory input, and companionship—all in a soft plush friend that's always ready with a hug.
Pax the Penguin
Hi, I'm Pax the Penguin. I may be small, but I'm a big fan of staying close. My weighted wings are always ready to wrap around a shoulder, lap, or backpack strap whenever a little extra comfort is needed. Whether your child is settling in with a book, winding down for the evening, or heading out on an adventure, I'll be right there for the journey.
Sidney the Sea Turtle
Hi, I'm Sidney the Sea Turtle. I take life one steady step at a time, and I think that's a pretty good way to do things. When the day feels busy or overwhelming, I'm happy to slow things down with a warm hug and a calm presence. Cozy moments are kind of my specialty.
Ollie the Orangutan
Hi, I'm Ollie the Orangutan. Curious, cheerful, and always ready to lend a hand—or two—I'm happiest when I'm tagging along wherever the day leads. Whether your child needs comfort, encouragement, or simply a familiar friend nearby, I'll be there with a warm wraparound hug.
Sawyer the Sloth
Hi, I'm Sawyer the Sloth. I don't rush much, and I don't think your child needs to either. Some days call for a little extra rest, a little extra comfort, and a reminder to slow down. That's where I come in. Pull me close, get comfortable, and let's take things one moment at a time.
Indigo the Octopus
Hi, I'm Indigo the Octopus. Flexible, curious, and always ready to help, I've got long arms that can wrap, drape, and hold on in all sorts of ways. Warm me up, cool me down, or simply keep me close. However your child likes to relax, I'm happy to come along.
