Give a child a magnet, and suddenly everything in the house becomes a science experiment.
Sized for small hands but built with correct north and south poles, this sturdy horseshoe magnet gives children an easy way to explore attraction, repulsion, magnetic fields, and polarity using a tool that behaves the way it should.
The chunky plastic construction holds up well to repeated experiments while remaining comfortable for young scientists to handle independently.
Use it to test household objects, sort magnetic from nonmagnetic materials, investigate force at different distances, or answer the inevitable question: “Will this stick?”
Because the magnet works reliably, children quickly move beyond simply testing objects and begin noticing patterns, making predictions, and trying their own experiments.
This is the kind of science tool that often stays on the table long after the lesson ends.

Love This!!
Sheri
Our daughter loved using this magnet alongside Science this year learning all about magnetism. She enjoyed using it in her own exploration of what around the house was magnetic as well. Nice quality item.

Great for preschoolers!

My 4-year-old has been really enjoying this magnet. It’s plastic and pretty light, but it’s made well. It’s a larger magnet, but it fits well in my son’s hand. It sticks well to other magnets. I can see this being fun for a long time.

Cool

My kids like this a lot they make up fun experiments with it all the time and we accidentally found out that the corners of our house are metal so that was interesting. I do wish is was a bit stronger of a magnet though.

New idea we had was to get a box and filled it with rice and magnetic objects. It was so fun to search for what could stick to the horseshoe!

Love this magnet! It’s the perfect size, sturdy, and makes for great fun. My kids loved to use it picking up all sorts of little things and roaming the house to find what was magnetic.
