The idea is simple: you have a girl, her grandmother’s house, and some obstacles - in this case, trees. The object of Little Red Riding Hood is to connect the girl and the house using flower-strewn tiles to create paths. However, the house has 3 doors so it’s not always obvious what door you are connecting to. Add in a very hungry wolf needing a path of his own and the difficulty level increases. Little Red Riding Hood game includes a picture book with the story of Red Riding Hood.

”In an age where so much of children’s education and entertainment is taking place on a screen... I am grateful for hands-on games and puzzles like Little Red Riding Hood that keep my kids happily occupied and mentally engaged without the use of a digital babysitter.”Read the Review
This Game gets my kids thinking. They always have a story about what is going on while they are setting up the puzzle. The puzzle is challenging for my 4 year old. The more advance ones are also challenging for my 5 year old. Great puzzle game. I was a bit skeptical to buy this but glad I did.
My children love this game, and I love that it can be made harder or easier depending on the child’s age or ability. The quality is great. My only criticism is that the price is high for what you get.
My daughter loves this game. She's been playing it since she was 3, just turned 4. She can play this on her own and it keeps her busy. I can really attribute these Smart Games to her ability to problem solve, have great communication skills and creativity. Highly recommended!
I love that the easier levels have corresponding flower colors to make it more simple for the younger kids, but that as more pieces are required, the color hints naturally because less helpful and the challenge really builds for the child. Similar to 3 pigs but definitely more challenging. My 3 year old can do the easiest though so if I had to pick between this and 3 pigs, I'd pick this one.
Logic games like this Little Red Riding Hood one are a must in our home school. This one comes with a beautifully illustrated little book that I love. The figures are a sturdy plastic, with a soft, rubbery feel. The challenges start simple and increase in difficulty as you progress in the accompanying workbook. We really like this thinking game!
