Loopy Animals
Loop, press, and watch the picture come to life. Loopy Animals introduces your child to paper loop art, a simple craft that transforms flat paper strips into colorful, raised, three-dimensional animal pictures.
Paper strips bend into loops, stack, and layer onto the page to create eye-catching texture and dimension. Everything needed is included, and the step-by-step process is easy to follow. As your child adds each loop, the animal gradually takes shape, making the project feel achievable from beginning to end.
While creating each picture, your child naturally strengthens fine motor skills, hand muscles, and eye-hand coordination. Following the sequence builds attention to detail, persistence, and the confidence that comes from completing a project independently.

How to Use Loopy Animals
- Open Loopy Animals and let your child choose which animal to make first—lion, llama, flamingo, or parrot. Starting with a favorite keeps enthusiasm high.
- Show your child how to bend each paper strip into a loop, then glue it onto the matching spot on the picture. As the loops stack and layer, the flat page gradually transforms into a colorful, three-dimensional animal.
- Finish each section by attaching the matching cardboard accent. These finishing pieces add definition and make the completed artwork stand out even more.
- Work at whatever pace fits your family. Complete one picture each week, spread the projects over several afternoons, or enjoy a craft-filled day and finish all four at once.
- As your child bends, glues, and places each loop, he's strengthening fine motor skills, hand muscles, eye-hand coordination, and his ability to follow step-by-step directions. This is a great art project for younger learners. It is simple and yet creates a project that they want to show off. Both my kids have really enjoyed sharing their creations with grandparents and I have enjoyed the easy clean up and smiles on their faces!

Very fun and different

We really enjoyed these projects because they are different from most other art kits that we currently have. We did end up using a little hot glue to secure the cardboard pieces in the center, we found the glue stick just wasn't strong enough.

Fun but messy

My daughter is one of those kids that hates being messy or sticky so this wasn't her favorite. She is also a perfectionist and had a hard time lining the stips up perfectly. It was a great learning experience for her!

Could be more challenging

This kit comes with 4 pictures, a center piece for each picture, and a bunch of strips of colored paper that is labeled with a letter. It is easy to put these together. The kids look at the guide to find out where to glue the loops. This is a great fine motor activity, but I would have liked it better if the kids also had to cut the strips of paper out. That would have made it more challenging. My kids (age 6) enjoyed this and I feel it was worth the price, but I am not sure I would buy it again.
