Match the Buddies Puzzles
It may be hard to believe that your little one who has just learned to walk, and has yet to master a jump, is ready is work on puzzles, but he is. Match the Buddies puzzles with their uber-thick, extra-large puzzle pieces is a perfect introduction. And the topic, buddies, is one that this age will find fascinating. I appreciate that the designer did not do mirror images of the buddies but included slight differences. This variation between similar yet distinctive animals can produce all sorts of fodder for conversation with budding linguists.

Match the Buddies puzzles will help develop your toddler’s concentration, motor skills, language skills, and logical thinking. The 12 two-piece puzzles feature extra-large pieces packaged into a sturdy, handy box with a practical toddler-friendly handle.

From the Manufacturer:
This creative play serves as a first puzzle and a sorting toy. It encourages toddlers to create and discover while playing with round shapes. Children are free to experiment and mix the pieces, as the set promotes the natural dynamic of learning instead of pushing kids into self-correcting schemes. Creative puzzles will help toddlers learn shapes, colors, animals and the sounds they make.

  • Arranging and assembling puzzle pieces:
    • trains logical thinking and concentration
    • helps develop motor skills
    • encourages kids to explore non-obvious combinations
  • Extra-large puzzle pieces made of high-quality, thick cardboard are perfect for little hands
  • The handy box with a practical handle makes it a great gift

So cute and fun

My 2 year old son loves this cute puzzle. It's not the typical puzzle because each of the animals are just a little bit different to not match exactly and I think it helps teach the concepts of looking closely at differences and similarities between two things. He usually can math them perfectly but sometimes he just wants to put the circles in wherever he wants. It's a fun puzzle that we use frequently.

Great motor skills

These were great for teaching my daughter the motor skills of getting the circles to fit. She's still learning the concept of matching the animals but I'm confident this will be a great way to teach that concept.

Fun Beginner Puzzle

I bought this for my son when he was about 1.5. At first he just put the circles in any spot. Now at 2 he can match them correctly. Both he and his 4-year-old sister often choose this for their school work.

Cute cards

My child loves running around with pieces of the puzzle. He loves to look at them. He can't quite put them together yet, but itsa fun and cute way to learn some animal names. Looking forward to using these as he develops more and more.
