Fraction concepts become much easier to understand when students can see how pieces fit together. That's exactly what the Math-U-See Fraction Overlay Kit was designed to do.

Created for use with Math-U-See Epsilon, this hands-on manipulative set helps students explore fractions by building, comparing, and overlaying fractional parts. Rather than simply memorizing rules, students can visually discover concepts such as equivalent fractions, common denominators, fraction operations, and part-to-whole relationships.

The updated Fraction Overlay Kit features durable, reinforced cardboard storage designed to keep every piece organized and easy to access.

The expanded kit now includes fraction pieces and overlays representing sevenths, ninths, and tenths, allowing students to model an even wider range of fraction concepts. These additions provide greater flexibility as students work through the Epsilon curriculum and deepen their understanding of fractional relationships.

Instead of printed instruction cards and pamphlets, the kit now includes a QR code that provides access to Math-U-See's Digital Toolbox. There, families can access digital instructions and additional fraction games and activities as they become available.
