My Pals Are Here! International Science Grade 1

Science is easier to teach when someone has already done the organizing for you. My Pals Are Here! International Science Grade 1 gives first graders a structured introduction to science while keeping lessons manageable for parents.

Across ten units, your child explores topics through colorful lessons, hands-on activities, observations, and short reviews.

Built around Singapore’s 5E approach—engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate—the program encourages children to ask questions, notice patterns, and think through what they observe rather than simply memorize facts.

The program uses three components: a full-color textbook, an activity book, and a teacher guide that provides lesson support, teaching suggestions, and materials lists.

Lessons introduce biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science through activities that combine discussion, experiments, illustrations, and written practice.

The structure is intentionally parent-friendly. You do not need a science background to teach it, and most families complete the course comfortably with two lessons each week.
