The structure remains intentionally parent-friendly. Most families complete the course comfortably by either completing one section each week or following the suggested pacing in the Teacher Guide.

How to Use My Pals Are Here! Science
- Work through one section each week. The course is divided into 35 lettered sections, so many families simply complete one section from the textbook and the matching activity pages each week.
- Use the Teacher Guide heavily. It provides lesson support, page references, materials lists, pacing suggestions, discussion prompts, and answer keys so you can spend more time teaching and less time planning.
- Expect lessons to include more discussion and explanation than experimentation. Activities are designed to reinforce concepts without requiring large projects or extensive setup.
- Spend time talking through ideas together. Third grade is where many students begin moving beyond simply noticing facts and start explaining observations, making comparisons, and connecting ideas.
- Use the illustrations, photos, and review activities as conversation starters rather than simply moving quickly to the next lesson.
Singapore's My Pals are Here International Science materials are based on the science curricula presented in the Singapore public schools. This kid-friendly curriculum is based on the inquiry method of study.

MPH Science covers biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science elements at each level. At the end of each unit is a review, a test, a glossary, and more.
There are just three books for each grade level: a Textbook, a consumable Activity Book, and a Teacher's Guide. Each black-and-white Teacher's Guide includes lesson plans, suggestions for teaching, and answers to all textbook and activity book exercises.
The black-and-white consumable Activity Book provides related exercises and reinforces concepts, many learned through art-based activities. Other hands-on activities are included to develop students' competencies and cater to kinesthetic and visual learners.
MPH Science does require frequent parental involvement, regardless of the grade being taught. Parents will need to oversee experiments, explain concepts, and answer questions. Thankfully, everything you will require is covered in the Teacher's Guides; you do not need a strong science background. Corresponding pages of the textbook and activity book are referenced. Any other resources or materials you may need are cited. They have even suggested how much time is necessary for every step of each lesson.
While there are plenty of hands-on activities, MPH Science has chosen to emphasize reading, written work, and student-teacher interaction over many science experiments. That is welcome news for parents who dread the work and the mess of science experiments.

Great Curriculum

This curriculum is pretty, easy to use and has a lot of fun hands on suggestions and additional research questions. We have use levels 1 and 2 so far and are really enjoying level 3 so far.

Not quite what i thought

the books are very beautiful very easy to follow for my kids. the activity book is very clear and not a whole lot of writing which my kids enjoy. I am not big on the content they have in the book. I feel like is barely skims the surface. even for 3rd grade
