By third grade, science starts asking bigger questions. My Pals Are Here! International Science Grade 3 helps students move beyond simply observing the world and begin organizing, comparing, and explaining what they discover.
Across multiple units, students explore biology, chemistry, physics, and earth science through topics like health, classification, weather, plants, animals, and the solar system.
Built around Singapore’s 5E approach—engage, explore, explain, elaborate, and evaluate—the program encourages students to ask questions, make observations, discuss ideas, and apply what they learn.
The program uses three components: a full-color textbook, a consumable activity book, and a teacher guide that provides lesson support, pacing suggestions, materials lists, and answer keys.
Lessons combine reading, discussion, illustrations, activities, written responses, and hands-on experiences designed to strengthen understanding without relying on large experiments or extensive preparation.
The structure remains intentionally parent-friendly. Most families complete the course comfortably by either completing one section each week or following the suggested pacing in the Teacher Guide.
This level begins shifting science from simply noticing what happens to asking why it happens—and learning how to explain it.

Great Curriculum

This curriculum is pretty, easy to use and has a lot of fun hands on suggestions and additional research questions. We have use levels 1 and 2 so far and are really enjoying level 3 so far.

Not quite what i thought

the books are very beautiful very easy to follow for my kids. the activity book is very clear and not a whole lot of writing which my kids enjoy. I am not big on the content they have in the book. I feel like is barely skims the surface. even for 3rd grade
