Maritime Whales
Maritime Whales is no ordinary craft project—it's a hands-on voyage into patience, precision, and spatial savvy. Whether your teen's got a thing for ocean vibes or just wants a break from the humdrum routine, this striking paper sculpture brings a splash of maritime majesty to any room.
- Everything is shipshape and ready to go: no scissors, no measuring, no frustration.
- Each piece is precut, precreased, and numbered to make assembly smooth sailing.
- There's even a mini practice model onboard so your teen can get the hang of things before launching into the larger whales.
Crafted from thick, eco-conscious cardstock made from 100% recycled materials, Maritime Whales is as sustainable as it is satisfying. And because soggy sea creatures aren't a good look, we've included the Aleene's Tacky Glue Pen—a fast-drying, mess-free, precision tool that's as reliable as a lighthouse in a storm.
Patience is part of the process, but the result is a bold, dimensional wall piece your teen can be proud of. It's perfect for unplugging, sharpening focus, and adding a whale of a statement to his space. Want to take it a step further? Add a coat of resin or spray paint for an even splashier finish.

A tacky liquid glue stick or a fast-drying glue is recommended for the assembly. A favorite brand is Aleene's Tacky Glue. Standard white glue can be used but will increase assembly time. Super glue should only be used by experienced builders or after a good amount of practice. Hot glue guns can be used, but it is possible they will warp the shape of the paper and, therefore, are not recommended. Glue sticks and double-sided tape are not recommended. If fast-drying glue is not an option, some customers have found small art magnets useful for holding pieces in place while they dry.
