The Picture This! Flip Book has helped my son to grasp the concept of emotions! We love looking at each scene and talking about what each person is feeling and why. Eventually we will get more into the prompted questions. I appreciate that there is a list of questions readily available for discussion!

Who, What, When....

When my son went through the Timberdoodle curriculum, one of the things we were missing was teaching "who, what, when, where, why, and how" questions. My son had a very hard time understanding that each type of question was looking for something different. We found some cards on tpt in order to fill that need. So I am VERY happy that Timberdoodle added this item to their curriculum kit. It covers all those question types but ALSO can be used to discuss emotions and empathy... how does this person feel? how does that make you feel? What do they need/what can we do for them? In fact, I grabbed this up for an older child just to go over the emotional side of things. The drawings were so good for emotions!
