Stacking Rocket
What happens when a shape sorter, stacking toy, and space adventure all blast off together? PlanToys Stacking Rocket combines multiple layers of learning into one beautifully designed toy that grows right alongside your toddler.
At first glance, it's an adorable rocket ready for launch. But hidden inside the colorful layers are shape-matching puzzles that add an extra challenge beyond simple stacking. Before your child can build the rocket, he'll need to discover how the shapes fit together, strengthening problem-solving skills and hand-eye coordination along the way.
The five rocket sections, including the little astronaut at the top, encourage toddlers to practice shape recognition, color recognition, fine-motor control, spatial awareness, and early sequencing skills. As children grow more confident, they'll move from simple exploration to purposeful building and independent problem-solving.
Unlike many stacking toys that offer only one way to play, the layered design invites open-ended exploration. Toddlers can sort, stack, balance, build, take apart, and rebuild the rocket again and again while developing concentration and persistence.
Crafted from sustainably harvested rubberwood and finished with child-safe, water-based dyes, the Stacking Rocket is as durable as it is attractive. The chunky wooden pieces are easy for little hands to grasp, and the quality construction ensures years of play.
Part puzzle, part stacking toy, and part imaginative play companion, PlanToys Stacking Rocket delivers plenty of opportunities for learning while keeping the focus exactly where it belongs—on fun.

This rocket is so dang cute and the kids love it. It helps with colors and shapes. I love wood tots for the kids and the colors and style of this one is spot on! It’s a huge whit with my Littles and all the friends and family visitors.

so fun!

Our kids love this toy so much! Our 3 and 5 year olds love it best but our 8 and 10 year old also likes to play with it too. It really helps with introducing shapes, stacking, and colors.

The PlanToys Stacking Rocket is an excellent choice in the kit! It is sturdy, and well made. My kids enjoy the colors, and that they can do a puzzle that isn't like a normal puzzle. It also is so cute on the shelf!

All hail the Rainbow Rocket
Dorothy W.
If you've read any of my previous reviews I think you know by now I have a bit of a problem with addiction to rainbow colored wooden toys. And friends, this little rocket is no exception. What a fantastic puzzle! My toddler enjoys knocking over the rocket and then meticulously studying the large rainbow segments and the small wooden shapes which are in the center. Great toy for teaching colors and shapes. And did I mention that little astronaut is the cherry on the Rainbow Rocket Sundae? It's just precious and my son always likes to play with the little space explorer. Sturdy enough to stand the abuse of a young child, the pieces aren't too heavy and the puzzle fits together fairly easy. There are a lot of pieces though, so the youngest scholars might need some assistance for a bit to put it together, but other than that it's just a perfect puzzle toy.

Beautiful, well made, and educational.

This looks beautiful on display and then makes a great learning toy when ready. My daughter loves to stack it all up like we're getting ready to put it away, only to then knock it all apart and start over. The only gripe I have is that the clover shape also fits in the square shape and so it can be a little confusing to her.

Fun and Challenging
Tasha G.
This is one toy that my son can't put down. I think he likes that is isn't so simple like some of his other toys, there is some thought process that has to go with it. He has just as much fun playing with the individual pieces as he does trying to build the whole rocket. It is perfect for an introduction to shapes and critical thinking.

Bought this as a Christmas gift
Bethany G.
I bought this my 1 year old niece for Christmas this year, but when it came, my 3 year old son naturally wanted to play with it. I saw no harm in letting him try it out before we wrap it up, and he has worked with it several times since. It is just challenging enough to require a bit of focus, but has a quick reward when complete...he loves to count down and "blast off!". I like the forced self correcting nature of it with different shape pieces in the middles.

Child's favorite Toy
Hannah
This is my child's all time favorite toy from the tiny tots curriculum set. It's a perfect tool for teaching him his colors and shapes. Right now I ask for the color or shape and point to the piece I need and he will hand them to me. It's a great bonding activity.
