Seaside Watercolor Bundle
Watercolor painting is much more enjoyable when your teen can focus on painting rather than stressing about what to draw first. Seaside Watercolor Workbook removes the blank-page problem by providing lightly sketched watercolor pages, step-by-step instructions, and all the supplies needed to start painting right away.
Designed as an introduction to watercolor painting, this workbook teaches watercolor techniques through twelve ocean-inspired projects featuring sea creatures, coastal scenes, boats, and underwater life.
Each project includes:
- Lightly sketched artwork printed directly on watercolor paper
- Step-by-step painting instructions
- Example artwork for reference
- Guided practice that builds confidence with watercolor techniques
Projects range from curious octopuses to peaceful sailboats, helping students develop painting skills while creating artwork they are genuinely excited to display.
Inside the workbook, you'll find:
- Twelve watercolor projects
- Lay-flat spiral binding for easier painting sessions
- Durable 120 lb watercolor paper
- Set of round paintbrushes
- Fifty watercolor paints
Whether used at home, on the road, or as an independent creative activity, Seaside Watercolor Workbook gives teens a structured way to learn watercolor painting without sketching first.
How to Use Seaside Watercolor Workbook
- Choose one of the twelve ocean-inspired painting projects and open to that page. Whether painting an octopus, sailboat, sea creature, or underwater scene, each project is designed to build watercolor skills one step at a time.
- Gather the workbook, paints, brush, a cup of water, and a paper towel before starting. The lay-flat spiral binding and pre-sketched pages mean setup is quick, and painting can begin immediately.
- Follow the step-by-step instructions and example artwork while painting. Work through one step at a time rather than rushing to finish the entire picture at once.
- Experiment with layering colors, changing water amounts, and trying different techniques along the way. Part of learning watercolor is discovering what happens when colors mix, blend, and flow together.
- Work through the twelve projects at a comfortable pace. Some teens prefer finishing one each week, while others may complete several during a dedicated art session.
- When finished, allow the artwork to dry completely before displaying it, gifting it, or adding it to an art portfolio.
- Keep extra paper towels nearby for spills and brush cleaning
- Focus on progress rather than perfection
- Short, regular painting sessions usually work better than marathon art days
Watercolor workbooks are just like a coloring book, but with watercolor! Enjoy this peaceful hobby on your own, with kids, or with friends. Makes a wonderful gift. Perfect for artists of any age.
