I’m not sure what it is about this book specifically, but both of my kids (K and 2nd) love their geography lessons. I really like the mix of reading and activities to learn a concept. We often do more than 1 weeks worth of lessons at a time.
Lots of good map resources. It teaches first with things they would understand.
We are absolutely loving this Geography Skill Sharpeners workbook. It’s easy to understand for my kindergartners, so they can get a great foundation and love of the subject.
My daughter is really enjoying this workbook. We have completed several lessons so far, and it has been a good fit for us. A good balance of worksheets and activities like cutting and gluing. Great resource for our homeschool geography studies.
Gives just enough information so that my son could easily be introduced to geography, but not too much so that it was hard to understand. Bright colors and fun worksheets kept his attention.
