Friendship is a beautiful thing, but when playtime results in chaos, someone needs to tidy up. The animals on the farm have made a mess of things, so the Smart Farmer’s goal is to put away each animal into his own pasture. However, the farmer has only three fences to divide his field into separate meadows for the horses, cows, sheep, and pigs. Please don’t forget, each meadow will need its own source of water. With 60 different challenges, Smart Farmer teaches spatial insight, planning, concentration, problem-solving, and flexible thinking.

”I think Timberdoodle is spot on with including this in Kindergarten with the average 5 or 6-year-old being able to complete the challenges, possibly for years to come.”Read the Review

Like Little Red Riding Hood, we’re still using this and it’s great simple logic practice for him--I like these puzzles as a way to keep him occupied while I set up another activity (or fix coffee and a snack plate).
My son enjoyed this game, it was easy at the beginning for him but a little harder for him to work out towards the end, I love brain work and continuing steps for success so I would recommend this game for some fun learning!
I used Smart Farmer weekly as part of Kindergarten for my 5-year-old. It was challenging and fun for him. Smart Farmer starts with beginner puzzle challenges and works its way up to harder ones. This product is versatile for many ages; I also enjoyed the challenges myself. I'm glad to have the game to use it with my other children as they grow. I have recommended this to others and would continue to do so.
My children love Smart Farmer because they like playing with the animals and fences. I love Smart Farmer because it teachers problem solving, critical thinking, spatial reasoning, and encourages my children to work through frustration when the answer is not immediately apparent to them. While those comments alone earn Smart Farmer at least a four star review, the fifth star is absolutely necessary because my kids want to play Smart Farmer so often it is a motivator throughout our school day. This game is a great addition for both education and fun!
Smart Farmer has such a cute premise, including engaging little animal pieces that little kids are naturally drawn to. This was the first box my child opened, and enthusiastically! The challenges get more difficult as they go, but begin simply enough to make the rules easy to understand for young beginners.
