I purchased this game for a 6 year old. He enjoys it, but does not beg to play with it. Once he figured out the general idea he hasn't asked for it as much. His three-year-old brother likes to play "farming" with it. The pieces have a pleasing tactile rubberized feel to them. It is probably best for the 4-5 year old range. One thing I would caution: the water troughs are a little on the small side, so they could present a choking hazard. I attached a picture. It is enjoyable, but not what I would call a, "must have."

This was the SmartGame we did with my son in first or second grade. For that age group it was a real challenge to think through how to put things together so the animals were separate from each other. I really like how the games get progressively harder over time to grow the problem solving skills.

We enjoy these brain building learning games. This one is definitely on the top of our list as the solutions seem like a practical challenge for my farming loving kid. Some of them are quite tricky but having an answer key helps you to support them in trying again and again.

Great for young learners!

My 2, 4, and 6 year old all enjoy playing this game in varying ways. My 2 year old loves rearranging the pieces on the board to make her own ‘farm.’ My 4 and 6 year olds like the challenges and like trying to figure them out. This game has been played quite a bit in our house. It has been a hit this year!
