Friendship is a beautiful thing, but when playtime results in chaos, someone needs to tidy up. The animals on the farm have made a mess of things, so the Smart Farmer’s goal is to put away each animal into his own pasture. However, the farmer has only three fences to divide his field into separate meadows for the horses, cows, sheep, and pigs. Please don’t forget, each meadow will need its own source of water. With 60 different challenges, Smart Farmer teaches spatial insight, planning, concentration, problem-solving, and flexible thinking.
Challenges: 60, easy to expert
CHOKING HAZARD - Small parts. Not for children under 3 years.

”I think Timberdoodle is spot on with including this in Kindergarten with the average 5 or 6-year-old being able to complete the challenges, possibly for years to come.”Read the Review

”If you are thinking about a curriculum for building thinking skills, this game might be perfect for your 5-10 year old! It's cute, fun, and very educational.”Read the Review
This has a lot of pieces. So many. But, it is a great logic game. My 5 year old does pretty well with it, but she needs some guidance. I suspect that after a few more easy levels, she’ll get the hang of it, I do wish the answers were on the back of the puzzle like the piggies and little red. It’s tough finding the answers. Still a great game and good for exercising those thinking skills.
It is so fun to watch my daughter work on Smart Farmer! She loves the challenge and you can just see her brain working. The animals are cute, the game is reusable, and her little sister likes to play with it, too. This is worth it.
I'm giving it four stars, as opposed to five, because my kiddo is not a fan. He thinks it's pointless to put animals in pens (his grandpa has a 100 acre ranch so the cattle roam free, but that's a whole-nother story). He does excel at the games, though, and it even puzzles my brain sometimes. So four stars! Good game.
The puzzles are a great way to fill in gaps. My son who is 5 loves puzzles and gets really excited when we tell him he gets to play the farm game. If we dont stop him he would do all of the puzzles in a day. It starts off easy and then gets harder as time goes on.
My daughter that's in Pre-K finds this to be a bit too hard for her however it's perfect for my 6 yr old (1st grader). As soon as he started getting the hang of it he started flying through some of the more challenging puzzles. Such a great game to keep them thinking, good for independent work, and this is one of our favorite 'Smart Games'. We like how there's many different animals and more challenging puzzles you need to use the water troughs. Highly recommended!!
