Taiga
Can your child remember where the snowy owl is hiding? How about the beaver, fox, or porcupine? Taiga combines memory, observation, and strategy in a beautifully designed game inspired by the animals of the northern forest.
Players arrange the double-sided wooden discs in a circle and reveal an animal card that identifies the creature they're searching for. Taking turns, players flip over discs and try to locate matching animals. Find the correct animals and earn scoring tokens; reveal the wrong animal, and your turn comes to an end. The first player to collect four matching animals wins the card.
As children play, they strengthen memory, visual discrimination, observation, counting, and strategic thinking skills while becoming familiar with a variety of taiga animals. Because no reading is required, younger children can also participate.
The wooden components are durable, attractive, and sized for small hands. Everything stores neatly in the included cloth bag, making Taiga easy to take on trips, to co-op days, or to family game night.

How to Use Taiga
- Set aside 10–15 minutes once or twice a week for a quick round of Taiga. The simple rules and short play time make it easy to add to morning time, family game night, or an afternoon learning break.
- Begin by revealing the featured animal for each round and encouraging your child to pay close attention to the location of the wooden discs as they are revealed. Success depends on careful observation, memory, and strategic decision-making.
- Younger children can focus on identifying animals and remembering locations, while older players can develop more advanced strategies as they track multiple animals throughout the game.
- Because rounds are quick, Taiga works well for repeated play. Frequent games help strengthen memory, visual discrimination, turn-taking, and strategic thinking while keeping the experience light and enjoyable.

How to play
1. Turn an animal card face up.
2. On your turn, flip a wooden disc to find the animal. If successful, win a token and continue flipping!
3. Find the 4th animal and win the card.
