Writing doesn't have to feel like guesswork. WriteShop I breaks the writing process into clear, manageable steps, helping your teen learn how to plan, organize, revise, and polish a wide variety of compositions with confidence.

Typically counted as ½ high school composition credit—or a full English credit when paired with grammar and literature—WriteShop I provides thorough instruction for students who need structure, guidance, and a clear path from rough draft to finished paper.

Across the 16 lessons, students learn to write descriptive paragraphs about people, places, objects, food, and seasons before moving into biographies, journalistic writing, personal narratives, and other composition forms.
