2021 Fifth-Grade Curriculum Kit
(Free Ground Shipping on your entire order when you purchase 2021 Fifth-Grade Curriculum Kit)
This year you will love helping your child continue building his language, math, and thinking skills. He will study the science of the Industrial Age, learn about American history, and make his own stop-motion short films. With colorful geography, robust STEM kits, and more hands-on materials that develop logical thinking, this year will be a year packed with happy memories for both of you!
We asked parents who used our Fifth-Grade Kit how long their student spent on "school,” and they estimated that they spent 2-5 hours a day on their kit. That variation is likely to be impacted by how in-depth you take your child's studies, what your child's learning approach is, how distractible he is, and much more. You’ll be able to plan yours to work best for you with your access to the online Timberdoodle Scheduler, included with your kit. Make sure you allow yourself and your child some time to find your own rhythm!

I spent most of 2020 researching homeschool curriculum since I knew we were going to be homeschooling our children for this upcoming school year...and likely for many more years to come. Through my research I came across Timberdoodle & immediately fell in love with their material. We got the 5th grade complete kit. I really like the variety of the books included & the extra learning puzzles & activities are a great way to break up the regular lessons. I really appreciate the emphasis on critical thinking in nearly everything we got in the kit. I'm looking forward to summer so I can really familiarize myself with the books & prepare for school to start in the fall. I would definitely recommend this to other families.
We have used the curriculum kits for 5 years, and it's such blessing to know that everything we need is all there. We love being able to mix and match based on our needs and what has been done in previous years.
The Timberdoodle 5th grade Complete Curriculum is, in my opinion, very, well complete. My LO was so excited about the games and activities included, I had to keep an eye in everything while I was unpacking the box. Since then, my LO has enjoyed looking the the items and using/working with the activities. I try to purchase curriculum in advance, I truly feel that this 5th grade curriculum is going to be fabulous....planning on getting the 6th grade shortly as well.
This is my first time homeschooling and I wanted an all in one curriculum package so I opted for TimberDoodle. The work has been engaging and rewarding. My only issue is the lack of art, I feel like there could be more art options as he is not gifted in this are and it would be beneficial to try different things. I am glad that we went with this curriculum as I have the to opportunity to learn right along side of him.
Overall, we're satisfied with the 5th grade curriculum Kit. We purchased the Complete Kit, as we usually do. I love the games/puzzles, such as Cat Crimes and Equilibrio. However, I'm not very impressed with the History curriculum that was chosen. It's a bit boring in comparison to Story of the World. Also, the Geography workbook comes from an old Earth worldview, which contradicts my own beliefs. I do still appreciate having someone else put together a curriculum package for me, and it's very thorough.
