Imagine this: he crash-lands on an uncharted planet, and his spacecraft is submerged beneath the alien ocean's depths. His mission? Repair his craft and navigate back to Earth using his newfound programming and wiring skills.
He will require access to a laptop or computer to program the HERO board and an internet connection to access mission-critical challenges. The kit includes all the other tools for this out-of-this-world adventure.
His journey will be fraught with challenges, from patching the busted control panel to plotting his celestial course home. With each lesson, he'll gain invaluable skills to make it back safely and may even ignite a passion for interstellar careers.

How the Kit Works
The 30 Days Lost in Space STEM Kit is the ultimate test of hands-on problem-solving with electronics and code.
Straight out of the box, teens can access video tutorials, diagrams, and step-by-step instructions. Guided by videos starring a seasoned NASA engineer, your teen will delve into a series of coding challenges to bring his starship back online, simulating real-life space engineering scenarios.
Designed for your teen to progress at his own pace, each day's challenges kick off with a top-secret Daily Briefing outlining tasks and wiring diagrams. The training is as easy to follow as a preflight checklist, but encourage your teen to take his time and explore each lesson fully.
From LEDs to resistors, your teen will work hands-on with components straight out of NASA's tool kit, gaining practical experience in electronic repair. With grit and ingenuity, your teen will soon have his spacecraft soaring through the stars once again!
