How to Use Djeco Collages for Little Ones Craft Kit
- Choose one animal project to begin with. Completing one collage at a time keeps the activity manageable and allows children to focus on each project individually.
- Open the matching envelope and remove the precut materials. Each project includes the pieces needed to complete the collage, so there is no cutting or extra preparation required.
- Use the wordless instruction booklet to guide your child through the steps. The visual directions allow children to follow the sequence while practicing matching, observation, and spatial reasoning.
- Use the included glue stick to attach each piece to the thick collage board. As children place, adjust, and glue pieces, they naturally practice fine motor control, sequencing, and hand-eye coordination.
- Continue until all four animal collages are complete. Many families spread the projects across multiple sessions, allowing children to revisit the kit several times.

I received Collages for Little Ones (Ages 3–6) for my 5-year-old, and overall she really enjoyed the activities. The materials are sturdy, colorful, and well-made. I appreciated that the kit included glue and plenty of decorations to dress up the animals, which made it feel like a complete, ready-to-use activity right out of the box. That said, we did have a small issue with the glue. It doesn’t stick very well, and even after drying, some of the decorations would come off. My child actually mentioned that stickers might work better than glue—it would definitely make the activity easier and less frustrating for little ones. She also shared a creative suggestion: it would be fun if the animals could be cut out and turned into paper dolls, maybe even with additional outfit options to mix and match. I thought that was a great idea and would add even more replay value to the kit. I would also note that younger children (closer to age 3) will likely need parental assistance, especially with the glue. Some of the decorations are on the smaller side, which can be tricky for little hands to handle independently. Overall, this is a fun, colorful craft kit that kept my child engaged. With a few small improvements to the adhesive and possibly some added interactive features, it would be even better.
