    Great!

    We have really enjoyed farmland math for my 3 year old. Mostly I appreciate having a comprehensive guide that reassures me that I am covering the concepts she needs to know. If she gets bored of this particular setup, it is super easy to personalize the stories and apply them to whatever she is currently interested in (other characters, animals, etc.).     Farmland Math Mat Bundle

    A sweet and fun way to introduce math concepts to your littlest ones. You'll play out stories on the mat as the book guides you along. There's lots of counting, of course. You kids will want to play with the pieces long after the lesson is done.

    Fun and engaging way to practice math

    This is a fun activity for both my 3 year of and 4 year old to do together. A great way to take turns and work together. Great perp for solving word problems

    Cute and fun, but not essential

    My 2.5-year-old son really likes the mat and the little animal counters. The exercises in the booklet are good for review and practice, but I don't think they're likely to teach a child the content (e.g. how to count) if they're not already capable of it. Each activity/story takes about five minutes, so although it advertises "36 weeks" of problems, you're only getting about 3 hours total of pedagogical material. (Of course, you can repeat the activities or use the manipulatives for free play or other exercises.) Overall, this is a fun part of our preschool day, but it's a bit pricey for what it provides.
