Designed for ages 5–12, iBrick pairs hands-on building with guided STEM learning. Videos, building instructions, and engineering challenges push your child to think like a designer—asking questions, solving problems, and improving ideas rather than just following directions.
This version gives you full access to all 52 projects upfront, available for 12 months from the day your subscription activates (a few days after ordering). This option is ideal for families who can't use a weekly subscription model and need the whole year of activities up front.

How to Use iBrick
- Get started as soon as your digital access and kit arrive. The access lasts a full 12 months, so you can jump in mid-school year or over the summer.
- Plan to complete one engineering challenge each week, or whatever pace works for you; as long as you finish within your 52 weeks of access. Each lesson includes instructional content, building directions, and an engineering activity designed to extend learning beyond simply following a set of instructions.
- Encourage your child to watch the video and complete the build before attempting the challenge. The engineering tasks often require testing ideas, making adjustments, and trying multiple solutions.
- Allow time for experimentation. Not every design will work perfectly on the first attempt, and much of the learning comes from analyzing results and improving a design.
- Working through one challenge each week provides a full year of hands-on STEM learning while steadily building problem-solving, engineering, and critical-thinking skills.

Each age range has its own set of projects, written for builders that age, so your child gets lessons that fit him and still stretch his skills. Choose the one that matches your builder: 5 to 6, 7 to 8, or 9 to 12.
It depends on who is building, and when.
- The same child again next year: your bricks are ready. Add another 12 months of online access with the 12-month Subscription Extension on our iBrick page.
- Two children at the same age level, building at the same time: one subscription covers them both, and a second set of bricks (Blocks Only, also on our iBrick page) gives each his own.
- Two children at different age levels: the lessons are written for each age range, so each child needs his own iBrick for his age, which comes with its own bricks.
Sharing one set of bricks between two builders usually ends in frustration, so we recommend a set for each.
That'll depend on your kids and your priorities. We found our boys went at different paces at different times. One is more detail-oriented and wants every block placed precisely right. The other is more big-picture: "I get the idea, I'm sure this is good enough." If an easy morning were our only goal, each working alone would be simplest. But then we'd have really missed out on the bigger life skills of waiting on and accommodating each other, not to mention the fun of seeing them help each other through the tricky bits, or improvise together after the lessons. So we highly recommend approaching it as a family project when you can, but each child will need his own brick set to really do so.
