Lab Kit for Science in the Industrial Age

The kit includes a wide variety of experiment materials, from chemicals and magnets to measuring tools and other science equipment. (See the Details tab for the complete list.) You'll still provide common household supplies and a few grocery items—such as red cabbage, vinegar, rubbing alcohol, aluminum foil, and meat tenderizer—but the more specialized materials are already organized and ready to use.
With supplies close at hand, your child can focus on exploring medicine, human physiology, cell biology, chemistry, geology, electricity, magnetism, heat, light, sound, radioactivity, conservation laws, and other scientific concepts through meaningful, hands-on investigations that reinforce the curriculum's lessons.
Designed for use with the first edition of Science in the Industrial Age, this parent-led lab kit removes much of the preparation so you can spend less time gathering supplies and more time experimenting together. It is not intended for children under 12 to use independently.
