2026 Ninth-Grade Curriculum Kit
Geometry explores the relationships between shapes, space, measurement, and logical reasoning. In Math-U-See Geometry, students move beyond arithmetic and algebra to develop a deeper understanding of the mathematical principles that describe the world around them.
This course introduces points, lines, rays, angles, polygons, circles, and three-dimensional solids while helping students develop strong spatial reasoning and problem-solving skills. Students learn to use geometric tools such as compasses and protractors as they construct figures, analyze relationships, and solve increasingly complex geometric problems.
Topics include the Pythagorean Theorem, congruence, similarity, transformations, area, surface area, volume, circles, and conic sections, including ellipses and parabolas. Students also learn to write and evaluate geometric proofs, developing the logical reasoning skills that are central to higher-level mathematics.
Like all Math-U-See levels, Geometry follows a mastery-based approach that introduces concepts incrementally and emphasizes understanding before moving forward. Clear video instructions, visual demonstrations, and hands-on activities help students build confidence while developing a solid understanding of geometric relationships.
Instructional videos and teacher resources are accessed through Math-U-See's Essential Plan. Each subscription includes 2 course credits, supports up to 5 student seats, and provides access to activated levels for one year.
Designed for students who have completed Algebra 1, Math-U-See Geometry provides a strong foundation in spatial reasoning, mathematical proof, and geometric analysis while preparing learners for Algebra 2 and more advanced mathematics.

Math-U-See has transitioned from lifetime access to a one-year subscription for its digital resources, including instructional videos and the online teacher manual.
This new subscription provides digital access for two levels and up to five students. Depending on your family’s needs, this may offer more flexibility than the previous level-by-level lifetime access model.
One of the strengths of this plan is its flexibility. Your students are not locked into a single level. If a student finishes a level early or needs to go back and review an earlier one, you can swap a course credit to a different level right from your dashboard, up to once every 30 days. Because the plan includes two credits, a family with two students in different levels can often cover both with one subscription. When a student is ready to move up, you simply purchase the physical materials for the next level and swap the credit. As long as your subscription is active, there is no new subscription to buy to keep going.
For more information, view our 1-Year Essential Plan Subscription Access page.

We've been enjoying Math-U-See. My son is currently doing geometry. The videos and instructions are clear and easy to follow (which is a good thing because it's been a while since I've taken geometry!). The practice pages are thorough and incorporate review questions from past lessons.

Math u See is excellent. We’ve been using it since primer. It’s great because the higher the math gets, I get to learn it too!

Thanks to the combination of video and text lessons my 17yo is able to truly understand the lessons. There are multiple worksheets for each lesson which incorporate concepts from previous lessons as well. We are loving this - math is no longer a dreaded subject in our house!

Math-U-See transformed math for this family
Kathleen W.
We’ve been homeschooling our 9 kids for 30 years now and although we tried all the “best” math programs first, Singapore, Saxon etc..., I can not imagine any other program for our homeschool. When we started homeschool I thought math would be the subject that took our children into the school system but Math-U-See made math so clear and enjoyable it is the favorite subject of all 9 of my kids. I am now homeschooling a child with severe special needs and developmental delays and he is thrilled to have his own primer book, “just like the big kids”.

The best math curriculum we've found
September L.
Our family has been homeschooling a wide range of children for the past 18 years, and Math-U-See is our tried and true go-to for Math instruction. What sets MUS apart is Steve Demme's visual explanations for why we use certain formulas or perform specific mathematic operations. Knowing the why is the key to actually mastering math, not simply memorizing formulas. MUS will help your child truly learn and retain the knowledge they need to acquire in order to apply math to their daily lives.

We love Math u See!

We started math with a different program, and my visual learners just didn’t get it. My HS freshman has been using MUS since Gamma, and she flew threw Algebra 1 and is halfway through Geometry. She loves it, it’s “easy”, and she grasps the concepts. The other day she was able to finish a complex word problem using shortcuts that I never would have considered-she’s able to do that because she has a deep understanding of what she’s doing and why. The only downside of this curriculum is the price. But it’s worth it!
