Eschewing a model made of garish primary-colored plastic, instead Mini Bricks - The White House uses materials that more genuinely represent the actual structures. This allows your child the pleasure of building his own ready-to-display replica of the White House brick by brick! Simply add a touch of glue (included) as mortar and follow the step-by-step instructions to build this spectacular structure with real gypsum bricks.
Display your completed model for all to enjoy, or you can soak it in water overnight, letting the glue dissolve. Let the bricks dry, and you can create and build more structures of your own design. This kit has been great for my 11 year olds. They have loved it. They are learning lots of critical thinking skills. They have also learned that they should read all the directions and plan out how to attack a project before starting. Right now it's not built exactly to the directions. I would highly recommend this kit.

This set is quite heavy! Actual, little bricks are used in this model, which I was quite impressed with. My 11 year old is working on building this, and he is loving it! It’s challenging for him, but fun. It takes a lot longer to put together than a traditional Lego set, so he can enjoy the building process longer.

This set is made of actual mini-bricks. I was thinking the bricks would be more of a Lego-type material, but they are solid little bricks. I am super impressed! The bricks are very high-quality and solid. My 9 and 11 year-olds both received this in their customized kits and they are excited to build this!

First, I was shocked to receive this and feel the weight. I am not sure what I was expecting but yeah...these are really little bricks! This is a large and intricate build. My daughter will be working on this for a while. I like that you can re-use it by soaking it. That is a well thought out design! So far all pieces are present and it is a high quality item. I think it will be quite displayable when finished.

I was expecting a "fancy" Lego-type set. In reality it's a plaster set that you actually glue as you fit the pieces together. Such a great new way to build! My boys are loving it and even the 2yo can help with a but of guidance.
