My Story K

Amazing (if there was a second edition)

I would love to see this book edited to make the text a little less cumbersome. It acts like an open and go book but not all of the words are written for that. That was my main complaint. The poetry fill-in-the-blank pages seemed silly. We enjoyed them because we laughed at the silliness of the “mad-libs” style together. She looked forward to doing History and I would recommend this book. We especially liked the language connection and coloring in some geographical places. It pairs well with the ScrunchMap World that Timberdoodle sells.

Great, gentle approach!

I love the gentle approach My Story offers. This curriculum is not overwhelming, but engaging enough to peak interest. The lessons contain just the right amount of information. My son struggles with ADHD, and I feel this is just the right amount of information for his brain to process.

We werent impressed with this, especially with the cost. Just found it to be kinda boring and the projects in it are mostly just coloring pages. My 5 yr old doesnt care for it :(

Love the Language Section, Cumbersome navigation

I LOVE that they have a section where they learn languages from other countries, however, navigating the text and the book is quite cumbersome and could be set up better or split into two books and dedicated good quality flash cards for the languages and the Bible verses. I would also appreciate better more rich explanation and background for the. Bile verses instead of just taking a very very small verse out of context and making it apply to what we want it to.
