My Year of Art turns creative expression into a yearlong habit with 365 engaging prompts that invite your child to draw, doodle, sketch, experiment, and create. Rather than teaching art through formal lessons, this journal encourages your child to explore ideas, notice details, and develop confidence through consistent, low-pressure artistic practice.

The activities are wonderfully varied. One day your child may be searching for interesting textures to recreate on paper, the next creating a whimsical doodle, experimenting with color, designing an imaginary object, or turning an ordinary observation into a piece of art. Some prompts offer step-by-step guidance, while others leave plenty of room for personal interpretation and imagination.
