My Year of Art
The most important thing an artist can do is to make art every day. My Year of Art is a place for your child to explore and practice his art ideas with 365 art-based, on-the-page activities. Using a combination of imaginative prompts and step-by-step suggestions, he’ll be drawing, painting, writing, making collages, and much more. Some of the My Year of Art activities will take mere seconds, while others could take much longer.
Because there are more activities in My Year of Art than days in a school year, your student can pick and choose the projects that most interest him. My Year of Art includes a list of art materials you may want to collect before the beginning of the school year.

My son (11yr.), loves this book. He does one heading a day and looks forward to it more than anything else. The prompts are varied and fun and give him the opportunity to express himself creatively. I appreciate having some daily art exposure. If I don’t get to incorporate something more substantial into his day art-wise, I know he is at least doing this. The book is exactly what I imagined it would be based on the write up. We are absolutely happy with it
My 6th grade daughter asked me if she could do this for school after seeing it in the Timberdoodle catalog. It is a cute book that challenges the student to be creative. She has really enjoyed the fun art activities so far!
My daughter is so looking forward to doing this next year. She's very creative and self-motivated and I purchased this at her request.
