My 7 and 5 year olds really enjoy doing this drawing book! Lots of space to practice, and the step-by-step instructions are the best! Great gift option too!
My Kindergarteners are loving this! The way each picture breaks it down by step-by-step shapes, makes it easy & fun for beginners, while creating opportunity to grow their skill!
My daughter loves this book so much. She loves the step by step guidance on how to draw each item.
We have the Step-By-Step Drawing Book from Usbourne and it is really a lot of fun. Our 4th grader and Kindergartener both enjoyed using it this past year. It has fun drawing instruction that is colorful, easy to understand and shows step by step drawing tips. Our kids used the whole book and made a lot of lovely drawings from the book. We recommend it for many school grade levels, especially for grades 1-4. I don't think you will regret getting this one- makes doodling fun.
My daughter has really enjoyed honing her drawing skills with this book! It has a good variety of projects (animals, buildings, people, etc.) so working through the entire book would give your child quite a portfolio of little sketches! There are many drawings that can be paired together, so that after learning to draw a ship, a pirate and a shark, your child could feel inspired to create a whole scene — and the book provides PLENTY of space for that and even includes a few scenes at the end of the book for your kiddo to complete. I really appreciate the quality of the paper, too, and would compare it to a heavyweight mixed media paper. It’s definitely a good purchase for an intro to drawing!
