We love this book. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that we will finish with it well before the end of the school year. I really wish it had more pages or multiple books in a set.
Geography is always a big hit around here when using this workbook. It’s a great mix of information, work and fun activities. It’s usually the first thing my kids want to do during the day!
My daughter enjoys the activity pages! I enjoy how easy they make it for parents to teach geography, sometimes we do all the pages in one day. So far she has learned about map grids, and globes, compass, oceans, continents, etc. we enjoy it.
My daughter can work through this book by herself, which is something that I love. I like that she can be busy with this while I am working with her younger sister. She is definitely learning from it as well.
These are amazing books! We did the 1st grade book and the 2nd grade book. My child loves geography and this book teaches things that can be applied and used in every day life. The map skills they learn are amazing and the best part is...it's fun! The activity at the end of the lesson is the perfect way to make sure they have grasped the concept. It only takes us about 4 months to finish this book (doing 1 lesson a week) so I wish it was longer. But overall, it's great!
