Get Started Together
At first, your preschooler will need help. Set him up for success by pre-sorting the pieces for each model into a zipper bag or tray. Help him “read” the picture instructions and show how to look for shapes rather than colors—the builds don’t always match the colors shown in the guide. Let your child start by finding pieces while you snap them together, and if a full build is too much for one sitting, just do a step or two a day.
Growing Independence and Confidence
As confidence grows, your builder will start doing more on his own—finding pieces, connecting bricks, and even tackling simpler builds independently.
