Can I install Typing Instructor on more than one computer for more than one student?

Yes. Typing Instructor can be installed on up to two computers and allows for up to five typists per computer.

What’s the difference between the Kids version and the standard version of Typing Instructor?

The difference primarily is that Typing Instructor for Kids is designed for young children. Built around a castle and island theme, it has games to teach touch typing and includes ten "plans" for different age groups. The standard Typing Instructor Gold has over 20 "plans" to choose from. It allows you to make your own lessons and tests to "customize" the program, or you can follow the lessons provided. It includes lessons, tests, strengthening exercises and practice materials, along with typing games based on skill level. It covers the keyboard keys along with the numeric keypad, on both a standard and split keyboard.

This is the adult version

My son's PC died and we had to make him an account on a Mac instead. His Typing Instructor Gold was not compatible (PC vs. Mac), so we bought the Mac version. At the time, we did not realize there were two versions of Typing Instructor one for adults and another for kids, so we made the mistake of getting this one which is the adult version. Apparently the adult version is a trip around the world and the kids version is more of an adventure island. My son refused to use it because it was not the same and it was not for kids (he has autism and change is hard on him). It was totally my mistake, but I wanted you to know so you would not make the same mistake.
