Letter Tiles
Letter Tiles turn phonics and spelling into something your child can see, touch, and move. Instead of trying to hold sounds, spelling patterns, and word structures in his head, he can build them right on the table—testing ideas, swapping sounds, and discovering how words work one tile at a time.
Designed for use with both All About Reading and All About Spelling, these durable 1-inch tiles help bring abstract concepts to life. Building words with letter tiles strengthens decoding, spelling, syllabication, and word analysis while giving your child a hands-on way to explore language.
The set includes 108 color-coded, wipe-clean tiles featuring letters, digraphs, vowel teams, syllable tags, prefixes, suffixes, Greek and Latin roots, tokens, and blank tiles. The color-coding helps patterns stand out, making it easier for your child to recognize and apply new concepts.
Included magnets allow the tiles to be used on refrigerators, magnetic whiteboards, and other metal surfaces. They're strong enough to hold the tiles securely while still allowing small hands to slide and rearrange them during lessons. Heading labels help keep everything organized and easy to find.
Some reading and spelling concepts become much clearer when children can physically manipulate the pieces. A single tile can transform a short vowel into a long vowel, turn a singular word into a plural, or reveal a spelling pattern that was difficult to see before.

We have enjoyed using these - the texture is nice, and syllable cards are fun. They do give some blanks, as hard to go through program without losing one or two - we keep them on an old cookie sheet and put them on smaller white board letters actually using for lesson. Put it out of the way when not in use. Nice non tech option, each new level adds on.

These took a while to put together because you have to take each little sticky magnet square and put them on the back of each letter tile yourself. Also, they were a lot smaller than I was expecting. Quality is ok. Otherwise happy with them.

They are durable and very helpful to have another way to learn spelling. Writing wasn't working for us to memorize spelling. This is just another tool to help!

Great Alternative to Writing

These tiles are helpful to visualize word parts without writing from me or my child. They are nice to look at and slide on the board well. They're easy to lose so have a plan to keep them them contained!
