bambinoLUK Primary (formerly known as SpecialLUK) is both for your toddlers and for your older children with special needs. The pace is even more gentle than the classic bambino, allowing children immediate success. To be used with the bambinoLUK Controller included in the bambinoLUK Starter Pack, these workbooks furnish basic and essential activities for children from two years old and up.
More About the LUK Learning System:
Hands-On Thinking Skills Program
Young children are almost always hands-on learners. That is why your child picks up and touches everything. It may look destructive, but it is how God has programmed him to learn. And because at this age your child will learn more easily using this preferred learning style, we recommend adding a hands-on thinking program to any written curriculum, to add balance and success.
Comprehensive Program For Ages 3-5
For this age group, the most comprehensive program is the bambinoLUK. The LUK learning system has been used in over fifty countries for more than forty years. Newer to the LUK line is the bambinoLUK. Intended to maximize children's learning, it contains one easy-to-operate controller with six tiles housed in a transparent case and a number of different workbook sets targeting memorization, concentration, visual perception, logical thinking, linguistic skills, and basic arithmetic.
The six large and sturdy tiles have a familiar picture symbol on one side and a colorful dotted pattern on the back. The decision to use symbols instead of numbers allows even very young children to play. When your child finishes the exercises in one of the books, he closes the lid and flips the controller. The colorful dotted pattern on the back will let him know if his answers were right.
Also Build Fine Motor Skills
Because this program requires the repeated handling of tiles, your child's fine motor skills are strengthened and his eye-hand and brain coordination are greatly enhanced. For ages three to five, produced by a secular company, so some of the pages may not be suitable for your children.
Please note: The BambinoLUK Starter Pack is required but not included in this set.
Puzzles: This 3-workbook set has 36 puzzles with a total of 216 steps.

I really like these but this set was a little behind where my daughter was when we bought it. However sets A and B were great for her. This set will come in handy when my baby comes of age though. My daughter can also do these ones independently with very little frustration. I was just trying to find something that she could do that wasn't a workbook so we could broaden her preschooling experience. These were fantastic edition and I've been very happy with all three sets. I would highly recommend!!
We got this set for our daughter for her 2nd birthday. We very quickly had to purchase the next level up because she had already finished these. They are a great introduction to the way Bambino Luk works and helping the child understand how to set it up. However if you child is good with matching items you may find that this set is too easy.
Our younger daughter started using this set right when she turned 2. It was a great way for her to participate in "school" with her big sister, and practice some basic skills as well. For a long time, she just liked doing the first few pages, of just matching the tile with the picture on the page, which was fine with me!
Simplicity is beautiful
We have gotten another set which was much advance since he was 1 1/2years old. He manages the first few puzzles for just 2 of the books & lost his interest because they were too challenging. Tried these books & he is really happy with it. More like excited! It is the perfect book to use so he can learn the 'setting up' on the upper page for later. He used to snatch up the tiles, but this book actually taught him to only pick up one at a time. First day & he is already sitting there asking for more, more, more ... No need to guess he felt really proud to finish the whole first book of 12 puzzles. On the second day today, he did it with lesser help. But I have to say, he started to get tired after the 8/9th coz it was really alot for such a little one ;-) i am already thinking if to get the other beginners set already too. He is now 25months old.
