What Our Customers Have To Say

    Maddie B.

When I first started this workbook with my son (4.5 at the time) I wasn’t quite sure this workbook would be a good fit for us. But as we continued to work our way through it I could see a change in the way my son started to think about the questions and answers. It has been so rewarding and wonderful to see his mind growing and learning! I will be doing this workbook again with my youngest!

This Changed My Mind About Workbooks

    Dorothy W.

I was initially very skeptical about having a preschool aged child do work book work but gave it a whirl in the last cirriculum box for preschool. Well, that series changed my mind, and Building Thinking Skills Beginning part 2 is just as good if not better than its predecessor. The work sheets are fun, fast paced (in a good way, meaning little children won't get bored) and the learning is spiral style which we have found to work best for lessons. My son asks for this book every single day and I feel he has truly learned from it. It's an excellent step up from Beginning 1. This one I feel might be a bit advanced for a 3 year old but is just perfect for my 4 year old. It's challenging enough to keep things interesting but not so hard that it's discouraging. This is definitely a Timberdoodle win.

These are fun and fast, and very brightly colored for anyone who is concerned about the attention span of their little one.

    Great!

    Kathy E.

This book does such a great job of teaching kids critical thinking skills. It’s hard to think of examples on your own, so this book is so helpful.

    Great Fun and Learning Too!

    Tasha G.

This book was great for both my kids to really start thinking about how things work around them. It gets them thinking in ways I never would have thought of and has practical uses. I definitely recommend doing them in order though and not skipping any or it gets a little hard for them to do.

    Lots of learning

    Sara W.

We have 3 pages left of some challenging pages but it’s been some good learning. All of these thinking skills books have been great. Makes mom and dad think too!

Continues smoothly where beginning 1 left off

    Elizabeth D.

I love Building Thinking Skills because they can be used as a stand-alone book, as a supplement, or as a full curriculum for critical thinking from preschool through upper grades.
