You'll still provide a few common household items and fresh grocery ingredients, but the specialty materials have already been gathered, measured, and are ready to use.
As your child works through the curriculum, he'll investigate astronomy, human anatomy, medicine, botany, zoology, heliocentrism, geocentrism, gases, pressure, electricity, fossils, microbiology, binary numbers, gravity, conservation laws, and the laws of motion through engaging experiments that reinforce the concepts taught in each lesson.
Designed specifically for the first edition of Science in the Scientific Revolution, this parent-led lab kit reduces preparation and helps you move smoothly from reading to experimenting. It is not intended for children under 12 to use independently.
How to Use Lab Kit for Science in the Scientific Revolution
- Keep the lab kit nearby as you work through Science in the Scientific Revolution. When an experiment calls for a specialty item, simply gather the needed pieces from the kit along with any common household supplies or fresh grocery items listed in the lesson.

This kit makes doing the science experiments a breeze. I don't have to go looking for materials or try to make something I have work. It is well worth every penny I spend on it and I have found that most of it (if not all) can be used for multiple kids.

I highly recommend buying the Lab Kit to go along with your Science curriculum. Whenever I have skipped buying it we end up not doing all the experiments (which are my kids favorite part of Science). It’s definitely worth the added cost.
