    Consistently Helpful Writing Program

    Dee

We’ve used other levels of Daily 6-Trait Writing before and have always been pleased. Grade 1 is just as effective—easy to follow and great at building solid writing skills. It’s a dependable program that makes writing practice clear and enjoyable for young learners.

    Easy Language Learning

    Karolyn B.

These worksheets are so easy to pull out and work through with your student. My daughter could usually do them with hardly any additional instruction because the directions are easy to understand. This workbook helped her to expand her knowledge of English while she was mostly still just learning phonics in her other language arts subject.

    Great Little book

    Jenny B.

We are enjoying this book. Great daily lessons that are fast and easy. At the end of the week the kids get to create their own story with picture which they love! Each of my kids can do this if course in their own level either writing a couple sentences the best they can or dictating to me and I transcribing their words. They are enjoying this workbook and I would definitely will buy the next one in the series after this one. Including a funny pic of my daughters work regarding a good and interesting topic- “Dung bugs”. Good for a laugh

    great writing work

    Bina

We love this and do about 2 pages at a time, then 2 pages plus the journals another day. The prompts are fun and my kiddo really likes to do them.

    A Great Filler

    Kaitlin T.

So simple, little prep time. You may spend a max of 10 minutes on a lesson. It functions great as review work with simplified definitions of what a first grader is already learning. Worth the purchase!

    Easy to use and fun

    Andrea

I've used this now with both my children and it is really easy to use and engaging for them too. Each week/day has a lesson plan for the teacher but depending on the kid, it's also possible to be used mostly indendently as well. Both my kids have enjoyed it and I like how it's organized to teach different aspects of writing.

It’s just ok I prefer other writing books compared to this one. I would not recommend to keep in the kits.

    Quick and Clear Writing Tool

    Rachelle

This book makes it easy to help writers of all levels. We often write the sentences on the board first and then my student copies them into the book or Journal. The lessons build throughout the week.
