What's in the Eleventh-Grade Kit
Pre-calculus, physics, and American government all hit in the same year — and your student is ready for it. Literature focuses on American authors this year, writing becomes college-prep level, and media literacy shows up as its own subject.
History pairs American history and government together, and the science program makes physics understandable without advanced math requirements. STEM includes electronics and Java programming. The High School Planner keeps transcripts organized heading into the years colleges look at most closely.
Classic and nonreligious kits differ in several subjects — compare tiers below to see what's in each, and use the customizer to swap anything that isn't the right fit.

We asked the families who used our 11th grade kit how long their students spent on "school." Most of the families worked on academics 4 or 5 days a week and spent 3-5 hours a day specifically on Timberdoodle materials. It is common for families to spend more or less time than that, so don't stress if your schedule doesn't exactly match up. And, of course, the time you spend will be greatly impacted by how in-depth your student takes their studies, their learning approach, how distractible they allow themselves to be, and much more.
