Language Smarts Level E combines language arts instruction with critical-thinking practice, keeping students actively engaged from lesson to lesson. Across 400 colorful pages, fourth graders strengthen reading, writing, spelling, grammar, punctuation, vocabulary, and communication skills while tackling activities that encourage deeper thinking and problem solving.

Level E feels noticeably more mature than the earlier books in the series.
