We asked the families who used our 7th grade kit how long their students spent on "school." Most of the families worked on academics 4 or 5 days a week and spent 3-5 hours a day specifically on Timberdoodle materials. It is common for families to spend more or less time than that, so don't stress if your schedule doesn't exactly match up. And, of course, the time you spend will be greatly impacted by how in-depth your student takes their studies, their learning approach, how distractible they allow themselves to be, and much more.

So Many Books!

We are excited to try out Timberdoodle's 7th grade curriculum kit this year with my son. The box came in the mail and it was like Christmas - so many wonderful books! We've looked through them and are excited to start - so much so that we may begin the school year in July! I love that this is geared toward independent learning as well!

Homeschooling as a new school

This was a new experience for our family as we never did homeschooling and were blessed to use this to get us started and what an amazing decision. We have decided not to return to the school system as we have freedom without stress, learning without judgement. It’s organized, challenging, focuses on creating independent and self initiating in our kids learning. LOVE IT and can’t stop recommending it.

Great curriculum

This is my first time homeschooling and I wanted an all in one curriculum package so I opted for TimberDoodle. The work has been engaging and rewarding. My only issue is the lack of art, I feel like there could be more art as we were able to fly through it because he is so gifted in drawing. I am glad that we went with this curriculum as I have the to opportunity to learn right along side of him.

Great for beginner homeschooling

We were unhappy with the way our school was handling the covid situation and just felt the need to homeschool our children. This kit has been a blessing in so many ways to us. My son is thriving and it has reduced the amount of anxiety I had as a beginner teacher. The subjects are self explanatory and provide a wide variety of interests to pursue. Her spelling has greatly improved and she's critically thinking. I highly recommend to anyone! Timberdoodle is quick to answer any questions you might have and are so polite.
